1. Getting Started
You can use NearPush to transfer files, photos and videos via Wi-Fi. Here's how to start using NearPush.
- Make sure that you and your friends have joined the same Wi-Fi network or personal Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Tap the find icon to find others.
- Tap a people for connecting.
- Waiting for the other to accept connection.
- Start to transfer files, photos and videos to others.
2. Transfer Files, Photos and Videos
Please tap the people you have connected to show the menu. You can tap the function in menu to send files, photos and videos to others.
3. iTunes File Sharing
You can copy files between your computer and NearPush using the iTunes File Sharing. All files will be showed in file list of NearPush.
- Connect your iOS device to your computer
- Launch iTunes
- Select your iOS device from the Devices section of iTunes.
- Click the Apps tab and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Under the File Sharing section, select NearPush to view a list of files.
4. Importing files
You can import files from another App. (such as Mail, Safari etc.)
5. Chat
NearPush can send text and photo message to others you have connected.
Without leaving the app, you can preview the photos and videos you have received.
Just tap the file in file list, you can also preview or open the files you have received.
8. Setting
If Automatically Accept Connection is enabled, all connection requests will be accepted automatically. No request dialog will be showed.
You can transfer files via Hybrid Network even without Wi-Fi AP or personal Wi-Fi hotspot. (Requires compatible device)
To use Hybrid Network, you also need to turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
9. Display Name and Picture
Tap your name in menu to change your display name and picture.
10. Today widget
See your recent events in the Today view of Notification Center.
(Tap the "Edit" button in the Today view of Notification Center to add this widget)
You can see your recent file received events on Apple Watch. To touch the photo or video event, you can see the last photo or video thumbnail in your photo album. To Touch the file event, you can see the file list of last 5 files.
You can transfer Live Photos on compatible device. (Requires iOS 9 or later)
